I design for people. So, in order to convey the benefits of a complex product like a robot in a way that is simple to grasp, but also compells them to buy, means leveraging ecommerce marketing web design strategies as well as relatable story telling.
While at iRobot, I championed an initiative to conduct User Experience studies to better understand our customer's behavior on key web pages. It had been over two years since iRobot had done any such studies. By using the web service UserTesting, I learned what our customers were experiencing on the site and I created designs which effectively solved for specific user challenges. iRobot has since launched a wide-reaching initiative to continuously test and study the site going forward.

Before iRobot transitioned to responsive emails, single image emails were common practice. In this design I wrote the copy as well as created the design showing depth for interest. The in-setting image with the hero shot in the forefront is strategic to show detail and context.
Early in my career at iRobot, I provided design support to the App team by offering logo creative explorations, social badge concepts, and user experience feedback on the home robots app.
